Senior Thesis- Packaging Design
Many menstruators are not informed about how the menstrual cycle works and how diet choices affect it. There are very few resources that describe this in detail, mainly coming in the form of a set of an unintelligible set of data. In sorting through and narrowing down this information I was inspired to create Flofuel.

Flofuel is a subscription service that allows the user to log symptoms associated with their cycle and order meal plans that then help to mitigate those symptoms. It aims to alter the association of the menstrual cycle as being an excruciating experience and instead provides a fun, educational opportunity to learn more about your body!
The Box
The Pamphlet

I designed a packaging system to hold multiple different meals and snack packs. The snack packs are removable to allow the user to take them on the go, and the top flap of the box can be cut down to be used as a calendar to track the user's cycle - designed in hopes of seeing the box reused and becoming more than just the holder of the product!

Each Flofuel box comes with a pamphlet that serves as the user's guide- mapping out when to eat each meal and snack option in the box as well as including recipes for the meals based on personalized health information the user inputs
in the website.

The pamphlet exists to
spread awareness around
the phases of the menstrual
cycle and promote a more
open conversation around
menstrual health.
The Website

This is a brief walkthrough of the website as well as an ad for the meal plan- detailing the questions asked when ordering a personalized box and a breakdown of the boxes someone would get for different phases of the menstrual cycle.
