Don't Call Me Shirley
a packaging design project
Dirty Shirley is a hypothetical canned beer that is designed for people who aren't super knowledgable about the brewing world but are eager to participate. It is an unapologetically girly brand that aims to create for the more feminine drinkers and keep them in the conversation.

Initial moodboard and logo for umbrella brand. Focused on bright, playful colors, hand-rendered type, and vintage illustrations. There is a distinct Southern influence that brings in the imperfection of being a young girl, being playful and liking pretty things but also wanting to play in the dirt and make 'potions' outside.

3 tight sketches- I wanted to integrate a small illustration of a sassy girl but it ended up looking a bit too busy and ended up getting removed. Once again focused on fun type and a maximalist approach- like I attacked my journal pages with a new set of stickers at a young age.

Final format- An Instagram carousel with final mockups, logos, and brand identity.
